zLegal Pad- A New Way to Present Your Case Z-Axis Helps Attorneys Present Their Case On An iPad
Apr 23, 2011
Denver, CO (Law Firm Newswire) April 22, 2011 – Z-Axis – Z-Legal Pad is a package that comes with 2 iPads with VGA adapters, the attorney’s presentation database loaded, organized, tested and presentation-ready and user training all for a minimal fee that makes it hard to pass up.
Getting up and running is simple. The Z-Axis’ Trial Support Group organizes the exhibits in preparation for the lawyer or expert’s presentation. The iPads are shipped to the law office and a virtual training session is provided by a Trial Support Group trainer.
Using the iPad it’s so simple to call up exhibits, zoom into sections of a document or add highlights. These tools can be used on-the-fly or annotations can be made ahead of time and called up later on a moment’s notice. Finally, when the case is over, the 2 iPads, one for court and an identical iPad for back-up support, belong to the lawyer to use again.
Chris Gillespie, Manager of Z-Axis’ Trial Support Group, recommends this service for smaller, less formal environments such as settlement conferences, arbitrations, mediations, Markman hearings and smaller, shorter trials. It is important that the user is comfortable using technology to present in court. Z-Axis does not recommend using the iPad for larger, more complex presentations.
