Fort Lauderdale, FL (Law Firm Newswire) March 13, 2012 – Fort Lauderdale-based law firm Earnest/Tighe Law Firm, P.A. has announced its certification by the State of Florida as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE). The Earnest/Tighe Law Firm, P.A. is owned by attorneys Molly Earnest and Paula Tighe.
Ms. Earnest has been licensed to practice law in Florida since 1988 and is also licensed to practice in Georgia and North Carolina. Ms. Earnest obtained her B.B.A. with honors and her J.D. from the University of Florida, and her LLM in Taxation Law with honors from the University of Miami. She has extensive experience in commercial matters of all kinds, and has a broad range of civil litigation experience. She is a licensed title agent for Old Republic Title and Fidelity National Title and handles residential and commercial real estate closings, including short sales and REO properties, and foreclosures.
Ms. Tighe has been licensed to practice law in Florida since 1990 and is also licensed to practice in Georgia. Ms. Tighe obtained her B.B.A. from Southern Methodist University and her J.D. from the University of Florida. She is a former Assistant City Attorney for the City of Fort Lauderdale, FL. In addition to handling real estate, commercial litigation, foreclosures, and general business matters, Ms. Tighe is a certified Circuit Civil Mediator, and performs hearing officer duties for governmental agencies.
