Alberthe’s practice is focused on elder law, medicaid planning, asset protection planning, guardianships, estate planning, and trust and estate administration. Prior to joining Littman Krooks, Alberthe worked at an elder law firm on Long Island as an associate, where she advised clients and their families on all aspects of elder law and disability planning. She received both her undergraduate and law degree from St. John’s University.
During law school, Mrs. Bernier interned with the St. John’s University Elder Law Clinic where she represented elderly clients who were victims of consumer fraud, deed theft, predatory lending, or creditor and/or contractor abuse.
Alberthe is fluent in both written and spoken Creole. She is a member in good standing with the New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association. She is admitted in New York.
