Wrong Way Drunken Driver Kills Four in Texas
Apr 12, 2016
Southfield, MI (Law Firm Newswire) April 12, 2016 – Wilson Molinares killed four members in a family of six by crashing head-on into their van on I-35 Texas in the early morning hours of a recent Friday.
This wrong-way crash was caused by a suspected drunken driver speeding south in the northbound lane of I-35 Texas. Police in the area received several calls that there was a wrong-way driver careening down the highway. Seconds later, a 911 call advised police there had been a collision.
“The crash scene was one of the worst the local police had ever seen,” said Daren Monroe, Litigation Funding Corporation representative. There was a third vehicle involved when the Hildebrand’s van was pushed into this truck. The driver was not seriously injured.
Police on the scene of the accident reported that the driver of a Honda Civic, Winston Molinares, had collided head-on with a van carrying the Hildebrand family of six. Killed instantly were the van’s driver, Heinrich Martens, husband and wife Margaretha Hildebrand and Gerard Peters, and their baby. Two younger children, 3 and 6 years old, miraculously survived the wreck with minor injuries.
Molinares was taken to hospital in critical condition and his blood was taken for a toxicology test as the police suspected he was inebriated and driving.
Representatives for the two surviving children of this horrific crash are likely to file a wrongful death lawsuit against Molinares. Two children left without parents and their sibling are going to need compensation to allow them to move forward with their lives and assist their new family caregivers to provide for them.
“One way to obtain fast cash to assist with funeral and burial expenses is to apply for litigation funding,” said Monroe. “The costs of a personal injury lawsuit can be devastating financially as plaintiffs struggle to manage their finances over the years it may take to receive an award. A lawsuit loan can cover a family’s expenses during the battle.”
Pre-settlement funding is fast cash offered to qualified plaintiffs within 24 to 48 hours. The funds are sent before their lawsuit has been resolved. It permits applicants to pay all of their bills without worrying about bankruptcy.
Since some plaintiffs are unable to work due to their injuries or they are too young to apply unless a guardian applies on their behalf, lawsuit funding can be incredibly helpful.
