Buttock Liposuction Procedure Allegedly Causes Necrotizing Infection

Southfield, MI (Law Firm Newswire) August 30, 2016 – Sharrone Travis allegedly contracted a necrotizing infection as the result of improper liposuction on her buttocks.
Chicago resident Sharrone Travis underwent a surgical procedure, referred to as liposuction, on her buttocks. The operation was performed by Dr. Florence Mussat and carried out in a hospital – Presence St. Joseph-Chicago.
As a result of the liposuction surgery, Travis allegedly contracted a post-surgical, severely painful necrotizing infection. She filed a medical malpractice lawsuit against the doctor, the hospital and hospital network alleging negligence in performing the surgery and failure of medical staff to check on her after the operation.
