Las Vegas, NV (Law Firm Newswire) February 2, 2016 – Las Vegas Defense Attorney Nicholas Wooldridge is sponsoring a scholarship to help raise awareness of miscarriages of justice and turn a spotlight on those cases.
Participation eligibility is based on applicants planning on attending an accredited American College or University in the upcoming semester and presenting a 1000-word essay on the subject.
One of the foundation stones in building America was the guiding belief that each person has inalienable rights. When a governmental jurisdiction exceeds its duties, individual rights are disregarded, and abuses result. Some find themselves in prison. Others have died on death row.
Founded in 2015 the firm embraces civil rights and the protection of those rights. Since becoming licensed in 2004, Mr. Wooldridge has dedicated his practice to speaking for individuals who need help in navigating the legal system.

Too frequently courts and prosecutors pursue expedience while they forego justice. This does not always happen. It is not the situation in each trial. But it happens often enough that students should be aware of everything Americans’ rights are so they can recognize when those rights have been abused.
