Charlotte, NC (Law Firm Newswire) November 28, 2017 – In conjunction with its 20th anniversary, Garfinkel Immigration Law Firm is excited to announce the launch of a new Charitable Fund (Fund) to promote social justice and to celebrate cultural diversity. This philanthropic initiative marks an innovative step forward in the firm’s long tradition of humanitarian giving.
Over the past 20 years, the firm has developed a significant philanthropic outreach platform, contributing to an extensive variety of regional nonprofits including Safe Alliance, Hospitality House, Loaves & Fishes, Crisis Assistance Ministry, Classroom Central, and many others. By setting aside a portion of profits annually, the Fund will permanently institutionalize a mechanism for sustained community investment in the future.
The 2017 Fund beneficiaries include the Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy (CCLA) and the Charlotte Bilingual Preschool (CBP). In addition to its financial donation, Garfinkel Immigration will also contribute 100 hours of pro bono legal work to the CCLA and will collect and donate school supplies and books to the preschool.
