Denville, NJ (Law Firm Newswire) June 30, 2020 – Nestor Bedoya, co-owner of Chef Fredy’s Table has been responsible for making sure that 600 to 700 families have food on their table every week. Mr. Bedoya has done many incredible things to lift up the community and help others in need. He also created the Facebook page HelpMorrisNOW – a prime example of how others helping others makes a huge difference. To listen to the podcast, click HERE.
Nestor Bedoya was born and raised in Colombia, emigrating to New Jersey in 1996 where he fell in love with the restaurant business. He started as a busser and worked his way through every position up to owning the restaurant. His dream – Chef Fredy’s Table – became a reality and a much loved and respected part of the Morristown community.
Bedoya and others in the community helped drug court participants with essentials like food. Members of the Alumni Association of the Morris Country Drug Court dropped off a box of food for every resident of the sober living houses in Morristown.
The compassion and generosity of Chef Fredy’s Table, Nestor Bedoya and other local restaurants was very welcome, even more so when one recipient said that if not for the food he received, it was not clear when his children would eat their next meal. COVID-19 has impacted many groups of people in our society and with awareness and a helping spirit, we can all help each other.
