Thanks to Ms. Spiotta’s background, she was able to help head up a project named Serve it Forward, a program that thanks frontline workers in the COVID-19 battle, while also helping local restaurants stay in business.

Using Serve it Forward, people can buy gift cards from local restaurants for donation to hospital workers such as nurses, doctors and other essential medical team members. Buying the cards and donating them to the Morristown Medical Center staff helps support local restaurants and their workers by spending money in the local economy. Cards can be purchased online or by phone.

Melissa also helped launch the “FLAG of Morristown/Morris Township” to deliver meals to the hospital while supporting local restaurants.

This program is a great way to help not only medical professionals but the local community and make sure everyone is supported.
