Wrong-Way Crash on U.S. 69 Kills Two

Austin, TX (Law Firm Newswire) April 11, 2022 – An 84-year-old man and his 81-year-old wife were killed recently on U.S. 69 near Warren, Texas. A 2001 Chevrolet SUV crossed over into the northbound lane and crashed into a 2017 Ford passenger vehicle, hitting it head-on.
Both vehicle occupants were declared dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV was transported to the nearest medical facility for treatment. Head-on collisions are typically deadly, but those who survive may deal with serious physical issues for a long time after the crash.

In most vehicle collisions, it is standard to get the other driver’s personal information, such as name, address, phone number, license plate number, and name of insurance agency.
“This may not be possible if you are too badly injured to move or cannot get out of your vehicle. Just do what you can do given the circumstances of your accident,” added Schuelke. “Do try to call the insurance company as soon as possible to tell them about the collision–if it is possible to do so.”
