Secretary Gina Raimondo met with Panama’s National Secretary of Science, Dr. Eduardo Ortega-Barria and Minister of Commerce and Industry Federico Alfaro to explore how to promote a competitive business environment that achieves social and economic goals. They highlighted opportunities for collaboration in the semiconductor sector to diversify and strengthen supply chains. The leaders also explored ways to support investment in science and technology and advance competitiveness.
