Attorney Robert Joyce to Receive 2016 Champion of Justice Award from Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association

Tampa, FL (Law Firm Newswire) April 22, 2016 – Attorney Robert Joyce, of the Tampa firm Joyce & Reyes, has been selected to receive the 2016 Champion of Justice award from the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association.
The Champion of Justice award is the highest honor bestowed by the association, and it is only
given when the board finds that there has been truly exceptional lifetime achievement in the service of justice. The award has only been given seven times in the past. The board of the association unanimously selected Mr. Joyce as the recipient of the 2016 award, congratulating him on a life well lived working for justice.
“I am humbled that my peers have chosen to recognize me with this award,” said Mr. Joyce. “I have been honored with the privilege of representing my clients over the past 36 years, and I thank the TBTLA for selecting me to receive this recognition.”
Mr. Joyce is a prominent Tampa trial attorney who has tried more than 200 civil jury trials as lead counsel. He is certified as a Civil Trial specialist by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization, a distinction only seven percent of Florida attorneys can claim. In addition, Mr. Joyce has received an “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating available and can be claimed by only 13 percent of attorney in the U.S.
