Three Truckers Killed After Two Big Rigs Collide
Jun 19, 2018
Southfield, MI (Law Firm Newswire) June 19, 2018 – Two big rigs recently collided on Interstate 40 in Lonoke County, Arkansas.
In the aftermath of this collision, three truckers were killed. According to the crash report one of the trucks was heading east on I-40, then suddenly, the truck crossed the median and ended up in the westbound lane, where it hit another truck carrying two people.
The Department of Transportation was unable to determine how the truck crossed a wire safety barrier in the median. All three people involved in the head-on crash were pronounced dead at the scene.
Personal injury victims often survive an accident with severe injuries and disabilities. Those who suffer fatal injuries often leave a grieving family struggling with emotional and financial stress. Recovering compensation for the wrongful death of a loved one is not a quick and easy process. Insurance companies usually fight paying out on a claim, stalling plaintiffs in the hope of a settlement for less compensation.
“Litigation Funding Corporation can help by offering qualified plaintiffs a non-recourse cash advance,” said Daren Monroe, Litigation Funding Corporation representative.
When justice takes its time due to the complexity of a case, a “lawsuit loan” or lawsuit cash advance can help the plaintiff stay afloat financially. The applicant needs an experienced personal injury attorney and a strong case that is likely to succeed in court. Applying for litigation funding may be accomplished with a quick phone call or by filling out a form online.
“Once we have an application and the required case documentation, we review the case and make a decision typically within one day. If approved, funds can then be sent to the plaintiff within 24 – 48 hours,” added Monroe. Repayment of the lawsuit loan is only made once the case is settled. If the case is lost, repayment of the litigation funding is waived.
