Self Proclaimed Stripper Witch Kills Passenger by Impalement Driving Drunk

Aug 30, 2012

Austin, TX (Law Firm Newswire) August 29, 2012 – This bizarre case includes a coven of witches and a warlock trying to hex disbelievers. The bottom line is the witch was driving under the influence of alcohol.

“I’ve been involved in, heard about and read a lot of strange cases over the years I have practiced personal injury law,” said Bobby Lee, an Austin personal injury attorney of Lee, Gober and Reyna in Texas. “But this one really took the cake: witches, warlocks, a stripper, Wiccan members, drinking and death by impalement. This story was almost too bizarre to believe, but it did happen. There is no doubt that drinking makes people do strange things that may have fatal consequences.”

The long and short of this story is that a woman driving a PT Cruiser, rammed into the back end of a parked flatbed truck, instantly impaling her passenger. Oddly enough, the 19-year-old man had a tattoo on his chest that read “While I breathe, I hope.” Thanks to the fact that the 25-year-old driver was stone cold drunk, the man’s hope had been extinguished in a grisly manner.

As the facts slowly began to emerge in the aftermath of the accident, the driver said the accident happened because she was distracted by the man trying to fondle her. The man’s family wanted nothing to do with that allegation and pointed instead to her alcohol consumption prior to the wreck. She had admitted to police she had consumed at least two beers, and two vodka and Red Bull cocktails, prior to getting into her car.

The woman further indicated she had not wanted to drive, but her friends insisted she do so, as she was the least drunk of the lot and had to take the young man home. Whether she was the least drunk of the bunch is not the real question. “The issue is she was driving under the influence and killed a man. It does not get much more straightforward than that. Whether or not she was a stripper, a witch, and had an uncle who threw a hex on anyone who would harm her, is colorful, but not relevant to the case. Other than the fact it does raise some questions about her ability to make rational decisions,” suggested Lee.

Police charged the woman with drunken driving and vehicular homicide, and despite the fact she was inebriated to the point she could not drive properly, she still understood that she had killed someone. When she appeared in court, the witch coven she belonged to showed up to offer support.

“This is an interesting case, and one that has the hallmarks of being a three ring circus. However, the real question is whether she will be found guilty of vehicular homicide and driving while under the influence. I’d have to say yes, it is highly likely. While not everyone is going to find themselves in a situation like this one, our office is well versed in dealing with DWI cases, and we go to the mat for victims of drunk drivers. If you need help, call us,” Lee said.
